LCWSC is a Special Purpose District that provides water and sewer service to the unincorporated areas of Laurens County and portions of southern Greenville County. A Special Purpose District is a form of government that is governed by a board of elected or appointed officials, and provides service in areas that cannot be provided for by any other agency.

  • The Laurens County Water & Sewer Commission (LCWSC) is a community minded company in an that supports various organizations in Laurens County as a way to give back to it's customers.
     
  • LCWSC supports the United Way of Laurens County, March of Dimes and Relay for Life to name a few. In 2007, LCWSC became a corporate sponsor of the Laurens and Clinton YMCA.
     
  • LCWSC employees volunteer their time supporting fundraisers and assisting in various community activities.
     
  • Employees have adopted a one mile stretch of Highway 221 beginning at the LCWSC Office and also Highway 252 at Lake Rabon to keep the area clean with bi-annual trash pick up events.
